Eversource Energy Manager-Regional Operations in Keene, New Hampshire

Manages regional electric customer operations to ensure safe and reliable service to Eversource customers.

Essential Functions:

  • Manages and promotes safe, timely, and efficient restoration of electric service.
  • Manages safe, reliable, and efficient regional division operations, including new service, maintenance, and construction. and meter service.
  • Builds and maintains networks of key contacts across the enterprise organization encouraging collaboration, teamwork, and organizational efficiencies.
  • Demonstrates ability to achieve and influence results through collaboration with Coordinates planning, scheduling, engineering, and materials management to deliver superior customer service and reliability. and quality of service.
  • Demonstrates ability to serve as a champion of organizational change.
  • Manages regional divisional operations and maintenance (O&M) and capital investment budgets.
  • Fosters compliance with federal and state laws and regulations and with Company policies and procedures.
  • Supports interaction with customers, community officials and the public at large.
  • Manages environmental coordination.
  • Manages coordination of training for skills development and enhancement.
  • Manages, coaches, and develops staff; conducts performance reviews.

Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications:

Technical Knowledge/Skills: Broad electrical distribution experience background required. Should have a broad power transmission and distribution background including experience in system operations, emergency preparedness, system restoration, engineering, maintenance, and construction of distribution facilities and infrastructure and process improvement.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration or equivalent required.

Experience :

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience managing groups in distribution or related activities is required. Demonstrated field operations and line operations leadership experience is also required.
  • An understanding of safety rules and work practices is a must.
  • Demonstrated competency and proficiency in oral and written communications and is customer driven;
  • Displays initiative; accepts responsibility; holds others accountable; participates in and facilitates team effectiveness; assumes the role of team leader;
  • Ability to lead, listen and promote collaborative decision making.
  • Thinks and acts analytically; makes sound decisions to support the mission; applies knowledge and skill to solve problems and respond promptly, appropriately, and constructively to employees.
  • Drives engagement, demonstrated critical thinking skills, and manages change.

Licenses & Certifications:

  • Must hold a valid motor vehicle drivers’ license.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program. The annual salary range for this position is $149,00.00 to $165,560.00, plus incentive. Salary is commensurate with your experience. Check out the career site for an overview of benefits.

Working Conditions:

  • Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required.
  • Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.
